2. To do
list when loss occurs
§
Immediately
inform local authorities in order to handle timely and produce report according
to current regulations. Collect minutes of delivery and/or documents proving
loss.
§
Inform
BaoViet Insurance or the nearest BaoViet Insurance’s agent to survey the loss
in a quickest time.
§
Perform
all necessary ways and method to prevent or reduce damage.
§
Carry
out the necessary procedures to reserve the right to claim the transporter or a
third party who is responsible for the loss by: immediately send the claim in
writing to the transporter(s), warehouse keeper(s), and require their Letter of
Confirmation of cargo’s damage.
