COMMERCIAL LAW OF VIETNAM

On June 14th 2005 the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam approved the Commercial Law. This Law provides for commercial activities, effects as of 1 January 2006 and replace the Commercial Law dated 10 May 1997.

New Regulations Governing Petroleum Import and Re-export

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has issued new regulations on refined petroleum imports and re-exports. Under Decision No.01/2008/QD-BCT, only businesses with licenses granted by the ministry may import or export petroleum products.
